I found out a couple weeks prior to the season that a young man I know is currently the OL coach at UCLA. Andy Kwon. He's married to the daughter of close family friends. This was his big break. I hope he bounces right after this shitshow ends ....

Even if they were good, the fact that UCLA is in the Big Ten is just embarrassing to college football as a whole.

On the other hand, they give hope to Purdue, Indiana, and northwestern.

If you had to pick a 2025 basement dweller team in a 1975 poll, I'd bet that less than 0.1% would have picked UCLA. It is absolutely unthinkable to anyone who witnessed the two biggest rivalries in college football play one after the other every year back then. USC is not what it once was but it is not an embarrassment. UCLA has developed so much suckitude that everything within a 5 mile radius is sucked into the stadium.

As their academics began to equal Berkeley's, their football program seemed to also match Berkeley's.
