I might as well start the gossip. Urban Meyer to Notre Dame? He has the clause in his contract that allows him to get out if the OSU, MICH, ND coaching spots come available.

Lets start a bet on this.
if youre going to start the gossip, you might want to invent a time machine and go back a few days.

Funny story...

My friend who works in Xavier's athletic department said someone from his office called Notre Dame's AD for something soccer related, and the AD's secretary told them they were firing Ty this morning, and that they are gonna be pretty busy all day. :slappy:

I thought that I remembered that being true. Hmmm... interesting. Wouldn't you like to be in Urban Meyers' shoes right about now? He could almost pick his job and name his price.

Davie, O'learey (sp?), Willingham, and now __________... all in a few calander years...

I still think Ty is a very good coach, and if ND would have given him some time, he could have produced... not that a new coach cannot or willnot... just think Ty is getting the raw end of this deal...

If Ty was fired, then he is the first ND coached to be fired. All other coaches at ND have not been retained when their contract expired. Will be intersting to find out whether or not he was fired or he resigned.
If that's true, I'll handle Ty's Title VII disparate treatment discrimination case against the Sisters of the Poor. Uh, nah.
