It really is exhibit A for why they fail.

It’s a self fulfilling prophecy- Hoke and Harbaugh exude arrogance on the recruiting trail and thus attract kids like this who expect to be great based on absolutely nothing- and then when the going gets tough they crumble because they didn’t sign up for a grind, they signed up for easy success and recognition like Hoke/Harbaugh promised.

It’s very clear what the problem is and I’ve probably made this post 4-5 times now... but it’s still interesting to marvel at the ongoing trainwreck as examples continue to pop up.
