You haven't been in a Big Ten Championship game since it's inception.

Rutgers, Maryland, Purdue, Indiana, Minnesota, Northwestern, and Illinois - they've all been to as many Big Ten Championship games as Michigan has.
Michigan's last Big Ten Championship came in 2004. Do high school students (recruits) have any football memories of 2004 or before?

I realized a week or so ago that Michigan has now gone 13 seasons without a Big Ten championship. How does that compare with their history?

Sorry to quote myself, but this seems relevant to the "Michigan is irrelevant" conversation.
One more year of not winning a championship, and we will all have witnessed the longest drought in Michigan history. That includes their 2006 team, it includes the guy who was supposed to revolutionize the Big Ten, it includes the great Michigan Man who'd never won a championship at any level, and it also includes the Quarterback Whisperer.
Two more years of not winning a championship, and it'll be a worse stretch than Ohio State's worst stretch since joining the Big Ten. And that streak began almost 100 years ago.

This flamethrowing QB has already slain Michigan. Here he was in 2008:

That was 4 years after the aforementioned period. Also if unexpectedly remembers something from that young of an age, he still saw OSU beat UM that year, for the 3rd time in 4 tries, with a NC 3 years before.

To expand on my point, we've almost run out of high school kids who were alive for Y2K. Which means in a year or two, there won't be anyone that was alive for Tressel's speech and the undoing of Michigan.
I work with a 22yo who needed to watch YouTube to see that speech and undersyand how powerful it was

I feel bad for the kid. He’s from GA and now playing in FL. It’s like when you move to a new neighborhood and talk to this girl before the locals tell you that she’s the town slut. He just doesn’t have a clue. Oh well. Chlamydia it is.

So, is the toilet seat story true, too, then? You can get an STD from talking to someone?

Damn. One more reason to be antisocial.
