My point is that this kid was/is regarded as one of if not the best athlete to ever come from VA, and he was decent in both sports in college. He was a starter for some of the most average UNC teams, and set records for a bottom feeder football team at a basketball school. And good enough to make it to the NFL. If he would've focused on one sport, he could've been a superstar was my point, COULD HAVE, let me emphasize that. Not sure what better examples you can come up with

I get it, I guess.. and had Ron focused on one he may have been even better at that one sport, but I don’t know if that’s a guarantee. Plenty of 5 stars who did dick focusing on one sport.

I’m not really trying to make point, just saying that he did just fine with the path he took. He got to play 2 sports at the highest level collegitely and still got paid to play one of them for many years after.

If the kid mentioned above gets the opportunity to do the same I wouldn’t blame him. I would however ridicule him to no end if he did it in Ann Arbor.

That's why I said could have in capitals, because none of us know what could have been. And agreed on all of your points.

Billy George clearly would not appreciate the this story -

A plane is leaving Columbus and two OSU fans find themselves as seat mates.

As the plane reaches cruising altitude the pilot comes on the speaker to give his obligatory welcome message. He acknowledges the OSU fans, but also mentions that he went to school in Ann Arbor.

One of the OSU fans leans over to the other and says: "I hope he crashes."

Here's where we really see the difference between our two programs. tOSU coach's assessments always seem to be "we could be better" and "x has to improve." We see this every spring

How're things at tsun? "Everything is beautiful!"

We also see this every spring from them. If you'll recall, last spring Brandon Peters was Andrew Luck v2.0 and the OL was going to be a strength. What actually occurred--Brandon Peters was Steven Threet and the OL was poop.

You have to feel for Pep, he tried to talk no-one into believing that JOK was going to get it done when Peters went down.

I liked Don Brown a lot before this series. Only like him more now.

Jim is still bizarre. Usually these series help you relate to them better.
