I guess the Spring Break trips Dax would have taken to South Africa, Antarctica and the Moon weren't enough to make up for the 62 point depantsing in The Game.

Harbaugh did everything backwards. . .the trips, the signing with the stars, the satellite camps, the vanity project picture books, all the bling. . .win something first, then do all that. As it is, Harbaugh looks like some has-been celebrity who pays the paparazzi to keep him in the headlines. Frankly, he's been an embarrassment. . .and that's without even mentioning his hiring of his alcoholic Colonel buddy and that American Sniper nonsense.

Red Sammy gets it. He forgot to mention the rap videos, the Lion King re-enactments, the sleepovers, the tree houses, and Jay-Bo's love letters to recruits. But in general, that guy gets it.

This class (so far) and last year scUM has landed a whopping 2 top 100 players while taking 19 players who were rated 500th+ by 247 composite.

The difference between us and them is that we have more than enough top end talent to take some shots at lower rated guys. Harbaugh is forced to take these types of players because he constantly whiffs at the more touted guys.

And this is why they have had one year that they've been competitive with us, but yet Brown and Hairball can scheme them into beating up on teams like Rutgers and Maryland. But for some reason, they are in the heads of schools that give OSU fits(i.e. Purdue and Ped St). I'd say that scUM's most important coach is their worst recruiter, and that's Brown. He could get by on not recruiting at Temple, or settling for low rated kids there, OSU and Ped St will relentlessly recruit for the top prospects

Their lack of top end depth showed clearly against us this year. Its only gonna get worse the next few years when players from the trainwreck of the 2018 class they had need to start making big contributions. Their 17 class was good. Though rather top heavy. Those few "stars" arent going to be enough overall to compete with the real big boys.
