If Higdon does indeed opt out. Mississippi Jesus is going to have some Vietnam style flashbacks getting dropped back to throw a bunch against a SEC DEFENSE!!! Could make for some good comedy (along with the continuing scUM fan Meltdown)

edit: also.....there's a new reason why conference bowl game records shouldn't be used as the definitive answer to which conference is best.

Apparently they thought he was only given the ball and run it into a stacked defense .

My very modest insider knowledge (I talked to someone close to the team this weekend). He's more than plugged into the locker room, that's all I'll say.

Long and Hill going pro with Bush and Gary. Patterson leaning heavily towards returning.

I know it's basically what we've all been figuring, but this guy knows not only all of these players, but the coaches too, so hearing it from him is as close to hearing it from the players as possible.

It is not so much what they would be losing on D - we go thru this every season.

It is the lack of depth to replace them. We are talking three returning starters if it pans out as described.

When he was hired, I said the harbrau would probably be the second coming of Lllllloyd Carr. He'd have them respectable, would probably beat his rivals at about a 50% clip and occasionally challenge for/win the conference. With 4 years of data to look at, it seems he's actually on his way to being their John Cooper...with worse recruiting.

No, no, no.

We have been through this.

No one on earth thinks less of John Cooper than I do but Harbaugh can't hold a candle to Cooper.

Cooper won The Game twice. Cooper never had 62 hung on him in The Game. Cooper recruited and developed some of the best players in OSU history that went on to have prolific NFL careers.

Jim Kardashian is 0-4, just had a merciful kneel down keep the score of The Game to 62 and has Peppers to show for his NFL pipeline.

GTFO with Harbaugh = Cooper
