Well, that SOB Brandon has finally killed something that matters. Toys R Us is now Toys Were Us.

He can fuck with their football program and shitty pizza all he wants, but fucking with kids and their toys?

Shame.on.him.

Really, shame on their BOD for hiring a 2x failure who’s greatest accomplishments is the Val-pack coupon program.

I just don't see how any scUM fan can rationalize this methodology at this point in recruiting. Sure, they got Gary, Peppers, and People-Jones, but they've surrounded them with mediocrity or utter trash. I would shudder to think of what those 3 would've done in S&G, oh well, sucks to be them!
There was a lot of talk of an uptick in recruiting by getting the Jordan brand, but that's been nothing but hot air

Gary is The Truth, but so far Peoples-Jones has been more sizzle than steak, and Peppers was never anything but the sizzle.

Not that I want to defend a scUM player ... but... DPJ was just a true frosh last year that mostly featured as a return man -- and gave us problems there =/
I'm not sure what, if any, conclusions can be made at this point. Tarik Black looked more polished as a WR, but we also only got to see him against the cupcakes Michigan scheduled.
The other problem in this calculus is the carnival-like performance of the QB whisperers' proteges.

I also want to push back on the “Gary is the truth” thing as well.

I think he’s progressing along the Peppers curve of not really getting any better throughout his career and feasting on scrubs while disappearing against good teams, with the added bonus of getting fat and lazy because he’s a first round lock, right? and he’s at Michigan where their whole thing is expecting recognition and rewards without working for it, but he still maintains his freshman hype because people/sportswriters are lazy.

Idk If i can agree with that, if Gary were on OSU last year, he would've been in the top 3-5 in tackles for loss and sacks and led DL in tackles. Kid is their only talented player, that's the only praise I can give to them besides Brown is a hell of a DC. But those 2 went be enough to beat the Buckeyes
