Ain't that the truth. Who could forget the Buckeyes dragging guys like Bosa and Elliott across the finish-line in '14. Oof.Freshmen and sophomores have never made substantial contributions to a college football team, ever.

No, you obviously have Mike Cox confused with Mike Hunt, who was being recruited until something smelled fishy...He was supposed to hand off to Mike Cox, who was jettisoned after arriving on campus.
I have tried to tell some of my friends - who don't follow the recruiting stuff any closer than the occasional headline - this and they can't wrap their heads around it. But, thanfully, someone on BP put together a graph which showed Ohio State outpaced scUM at every recruit save for 3 - Rashan Gary was, according to the graph, rated better than any Ohio State recruit, and scUM's last two positions on the 85 man roster were better recruits than OSU's last two scholarship spots. At every other roster spot, Ohio State has a talent advantage. Specifically towards the middle of the roster, where the Buckeyes are remarkably better, and consequently deeper. Showed it to some folks as an eye opener. They probably also don't want to realize that their "high" rankings in the past couple of recruiting cycles is more a product of quantity over quality. While tOSU continues to load up with a large majority of 4 and 5* kids, scUM's classes have been dominated by 3* kids with a couple of 4* and very few 5* recruits. The talent gap isn't narrowing...it's actually growing.
Shavodrick Beaver actually turned down a scUM offer and went to Tulsa and in the process deprived us of four years of shaved beaver jokes.
I'll never forgive him.
Maybe. I think the bigger joke is that he turned down scUM for Tulsa.
I mean, who actually wins with a RS Freshman at QB?Freshmen and sophomores have never made substantial contributions to a college football team, ever.

Kinesiology was sick of being the dumping ground for RichRod's future academic casualties. They finally drew the line in the sand with Shav'd and his 1.8 GPA.Shavodrick Beaver actually turned down a scUM offer and went to Tulsa and in the process deprived us of four years of shaved beaver jokes.

Just another day over at mgoblog, blaming Hoke for Harbaugh's ineptitude and refusing to write a word of criticism directed at Harbaugh:
