I don’t see Edwards choosing scUX as a big surprise. He’s from there and they have always been in his top 3-5 schools. He was a heavy lean there from day 1. The Buckeyes did a great job in his recruitment and gave him the opportunity to commit. I highly suspect he would be a Buckeye if Henderson didn’t commit first.

Will he rue the day that he let that opportunity pass him by....hells to the yeah he will....

With that average scUM OL Idk how he has much success. Charbonnet was damn near a 5star and he's on the verge of leaving the program after 2 mediocre seasons. The last 2 5star RBs they've had, did absolutely nothing in college and floundered out of college. And young Hairball hasn't shown to be a very good RB coach

scUM hasn't had a 5-star RB do anything of note in the recruiting services era. I can only think of 3 that they've had:

Kelly Baraka - never played a down (drugs)
Kevin Grady - best known for getting a blind drunk DUI. Career totals in 4 years: 783 yards (3.9 ypc), 10 td.
Derrick Greene - Showed up overweight and did little of note in 3 years before transferring to TCU where he did nothing. Career totals at tsun: 898 yards (4.2 ypc), 7 td

Ty Isaac was a 5 star that transferred in from USC after 1 year. He didn't have a noteworthy career, but was easily more effective than the other three. In 3 years at tsun: 1170 yards (6.1 ypc), 8 td...roughly 390 yards and 3 td per year.

There's a reason they haven't had a skill position player drafted in the 1st round in 15 years and counting (spoiler alert: they won't in 2021 either)...

Stupidity so profound it borders on delusion.

Unlike when Ohio State offers a lower ranked guy early, like, say, Jordan Hancock, who rockets up the ranking... or a lower ranked guy like, say, Chris Olave, who is an absolute beast on the field— when Michigan offers lower ranked guys they neither improve their ranking or do anything on the field.

But yeah, definitely keep doing that, it’s working out great for you so far.
