ttun recruiting (all classes)

I do worry about some of our crazy fans not overreacting if OSU loses this year to TTUN. With a new QB and OL holes, away against a TTUN with alot of returners is a distinct possibility.

On the flip side if we beat them this year it's really all down hill for them. They are finally going to have a massive turnover after this season, so in 2024 we will see how "great" their player development really is once the younger meh recruits are finally forced to actually play.

After this year I could see Harbaugh ACTUALLY leaving due to this. 2024 is going to be rough for them.

Harbaugh would have left in any previous year and will leave as soon as an NFL team actually offers him a job after interviewing him.

He's really gonna be begging after this year.

McCarthy probably goes pro, leaving them with a freshman QB next year (or relying on a guy who was a walk on)

Both RBs are gone, they will likely also be playing a true freshman year since none of the RBs behind Corum & Edwards have shown they are even remotely capable runners.

the whole OL is gone

Top 2 remaining WRs gone, though Johnson and Wilson aren't great by any means, nobody else in that room has shown a pulse.

Even if McCarthy were to return the offense looks like a complete mess in 2024. The defense will probably manage, but it's not gonna be enough to carry a offense that literally has to piece everything together and rely on freshmen.

The funniest part about that GoBlow thread is all of the sunshine pumpers chanting "ITS ONLY JULY!"

Well it's July and they already have 24!!! Commits'. Their class is basically full, though they are now a SEC level number cruncher so they'll probably sign close to 30 anyways. IDK where these supposed top ranked guys they are "just waiting" on are sitting at, probably because they don't exist. The 5-6 guys they add will most likely be low 4*/relative unknown 3* types.

Elias Rudolph announces today at 5:30 and is 100% CB’d to ttun. Either takes them to 25 commits or he spurns them which is what I’m rooting for.

If they land him they are hilariously going to claim this as a BIG RECRUITING VICTORY over Ohio State. Nevermind Ohio State has likely cooled here more than anything is in line for 3 much higher rated DEs currently and just beat them out in a actual head to head for a 5* DL.

If they land him they will say its bigger than OSU landing Lightfoot, Stewart AND Houston!

Gotta say I was never wowed by his highlights. He’s. Massive athlete and you take him but I wasn’t hoping or counting on his commit. We have 3*s I’m way more excited about (even if he committed). Seems to be going fine to me.

Once again, no matter how much they want to claim they do it constantly do it, scUM has developed exactly ONE (Kwity Paye) 3* DL into a NFL draft pick during Harbaugh's 8 seasons there. One success to how many failures? The ratio is not good.

They constantly claim Ojabo was this as well, but Ojabo was a mid range 4*

But yes who needs Tyler Scott when you have

To be fair, Elias is going to be a player at the next level and is underrated by the recruiting services

...but I wouldn't take him over any of those 3. And if he spurns TSUN for anyone else, their message boards are going to be priceless
Yeah, he's talented, no doubt. But he needs the right scheme for his size and skill set. He reminds me of Bruce Irvin who went to WVU and got drafted to the Seahawks in the 1st round, but was only around 240lbs. So he could only be played in certain situations. That will be Rudolph. No way can he play all 3-4 downs against OTs that will outweigh him by 100+lbs.

Well said, and I agree
