He should have declared for the NBA draft earlier this year. He would likely have been a 1st round pick. Jared Sullinger had back surgery earlier this year (his rookie NBA season); however, he was on an NBA team and was getting paid.

As much as I want tsun to lose every game they play in every sport they play, I also obviously hate to see one of their kids get a serious injury. Hope he comes back before the end of the season and puts this injury behind him moving forward.

I agree he should have gone pro last year. He would have been a lotto pick and could have a lot of money in the bank while he rehabbed. Now his future could be in jeopardy. The comparison between football and basketball isn't perfect but Tressel's Rule---if you are going to be drafted in the 1st round, you should go.
