You needed a scout to tell you that? :tongue2:

No, seriously, I can't remember a weaker draft. It's not getting much better either. Talent wise, this was by far the worst McDonald's AA game I've attended in the last ten years.

Actually next years draft class is expected to be one of the best in recent memory.

Andrew Wiggins would be the easy #1 choice even in this years draft; Jabari Parker, Julius Randle, James Young all could have possibly been Top 5 this year as well. I personally really like Randle, he's a beast in the post.

But that being said, the '14 class will ******** the '13 class.

Wiggins is an exceptional athlete. Parker would be lucky to be a top 25 player a decade or more ago, and I've seen him play more than 20 times. Randle was not impressive at all. We were laughing at how bad he was during the game. He's a great athlete with no basketball skills. The kid going to Arizona is a sick athlete. Reminded me of a smaller Blake Griffin.

Hardaway history

No surprise here? Two more to go:)
Wolverines guard Tim Hardaway Jr. is passing up any more time at Michigan, following in the footsteps of his father and heading to the NBA. The news comes via Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, who tweeted such Wednesday afternoon.

He joins teammate, sophomore Trey Burke, as the second UM player to opt for early entry. The school is still awaiting decisions from freshmen Mitch McGary and Glenn Robinson III.

Hardaway, a junior, averaged 14.5 points at Michigan this past season, helping the Wolverines reach the national title game. In Jeff Goodman's most recent mock draft, the guard/forward is forecast as a late second-round pick. His 4.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game this season were the best numbers of his three-year career in Ann Arbor.

The NBA Draft is June 27.

I think it is silly for Hardaway to go pro as a projected late-second round pick with only one year in college left - unless he makes it in the NBA, which seems like a longshot. It's not like his family should be hurting for money.

I don't know how much he can improve his stock though, especially if next years draft is suppose to be better. Thanks for the memories, THjr. Good luck.

this could be a slow painful week of press conferences if the next two do the same thing. Hopefully they stay. I liked being relevant in basketball for the first time in a long time.

That's kind of the problem in having no stock, hard for that stock value to rise. Again, I think it's a dumb move by Hardaway. His father struck it rich in the NBA, Jr isn't going to make much $ next year (for a pro basketball player that is) and he may very well be undrafted and have some egg on his face. But on the bright side, at least I don't have to see Hardaway Sr and his goofy looking hat habits anymore.

there are quite a few mock drafts out there that have Hardaway going late in the first round and I think you know that. if you do that here is one http://www.nbadraft.net/2013mock_draft

You keep saying this, and yet you keep citing to just that one mock. There are several that don't have him going in the first round:

1. http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2013/ (#53 overall--barely makes it into the bottom of the second round)
2. http://www.cbssports.com/nba/draft/mock-draft (#47 overall--halfway down the second round)
3. Chad Ford at espn.com only has his first round up, and Hardaway's not in it.

Look, maybe he'll go in the first round. But judging by the above, the proposition that Hardaway may go in the second (and late in the second) isn't as ridiculous as you seem to think it is.
