Turnover margin has killed us the past 2 years. Michigan has 0 turnovers the first two games. Got lucky with a few fumbles that bounced our way, but the past several years we weren't catching those breaks so it's nice to see.
Regression to the mean is going to be a cruel bitch.

Just woke up after getting back late from the game. Props to Michigan, your QB is a force. If Tater was in that game again it would have been a different story I think, Rich Rod made the right choice. Would have liked to have Crist the whole game, but thats the way football works. Kelly took full responsibility for not having the backup QBs prepared, which was a far cry from previous coach(es) throwing players under the bus. Montana looked a bit better than Tommy Rees, but Rees is a true freshman and only got one series. Montana got better as the jitters left, but definitly needs work to be able to execute.

congrats uh that team, it was a big rebuilding win and i have to say D. Robinson is a beast these first 2 games. But what most inpressed me about him was his interactions with the media he is a true leader for you guys, took no credit for himself, didnt want to talk about his stats, and mainly put everything all on how good his team played. No offense but that is a big contrast from Tater tot a year ago and even R. Rod(sometimes to me he comes off kinda brash and sometimes cocky).

So good luck blue you really have a good qb and leader this year, but we will have to see what happens against a good defense.

I do hope the next couple games we can see some other guys step up and have some big contributions. Yeah, we're looking like D-Rob is all we got, and so far it's worked, but it can't work all season.

can it?
Seen this movie before. If Denard is still in one piece by Halloween, then we'll talk. Pat White always had some dings and dents, and he usually wasn't even carrying the ball 20 times a game until the second half of the season.

A 4-0, or possibly even 6-0, start may be in the works for the Wolverines, but if Denard comes out of that Michigan St, Iowa, Penn State stretch from Oct 9-30 without missing snaps due to injury, I'll be surprised.

Congratulations Michigan on your win over Notre Dame. The more you win the less likely DickRod will be fired after this season. The way I look at it, you should beat UMass, BG, Indiana, Illinois, & Purdue. That 7-5 record will get you a bid to the highly prestigious "Little Geezers" Pizza Bowl in Detroit against another MAC school. With a win in the Pizza Bowl (who knows) maybe DickRod will even get a contract extension.

You know, this board really needs a sarcasm font.

I always thought this board needed a 'serious' font, because everything everybody posts is sarcastic enough already.

When in doubt, you could just wrap your posts with [BB73] [/BB73] tags.
