Calling anybody a leader for the Heisman midway through the second week's games is stupid.

As a Buckeye I suspect Robert Smith knows it will hurt scum fans that much more when they start to suck. Right now they once again think they have a good team and a Heisman QB. Going 1-7 in the Big 10 after a 4-0 start is a long way to fall. It's all about breaking their spirit.

Exactly...especially when they haven't played a team with a defensive pulse yet. Remember Tater? He was a "heisman candidate" after playing NoD last year and we all know how that turned out.

I don't think it's that complicated. He works for ESPN. He wants to keep getting paychecks. Therefore, he's gonna talk about a postseason award in September because that's what they do in his company.

Robert Smith calling Denard Robinson the leader in the Heisman race with 502 yards of offense.

Robinson has 5 TDs to go along with his 885 total yards of offense in two games.

Staggering totals no matter the opponent. But, too bad his team in general sucks. One small player can't carry the team all season. Want to see a legit defense play them too.

(I'm not agreeing with the Heisman talk, just saying)

You better believe it. I'm going to be trash talking if we win this game. If we win this game, I really think we can win the national championship. It just sets up perfectly for us. Denard might go for 500 yards of total offense.

Interesting......very interesting.

Yeah Michigan doesn't have any running backs. We have to ride him because he is about the only great player we have. He will get beat up, but I'm so proud of him today. I just hope he can make it through the whole season. We have a great chance to start 5-0 and then just win another game to be bowl eligible. Good season if we make a bowl game. Player of the day!

Yep. There's no denying Robinson's performance to this point. He's been very good. But.... he goes down... or if a team can limit him.... turn out the lights.

Right. So we can plan on scUM going 4-0 and Shoelace being a heisman candidate and then game 5...well...

Who do they play game 5 anyway?
