If VT ends up with a very good showing in the rest of their schedule, then I will look back and feel better about this loss. Right now, I'm not sure VT is all that good, but they were a hell of a lot better than Ohio State today, and that's my main concern now. It wasn't a good game from Ohio State, not at all really. VT tried to give us the game for a little bit, but then took it back, Ohio State wasn't in a position to take anything for themselves though. VT may or may not have been a quality opponent for Ohio State, the rest of the season will tell us that. Question for you might be, was Ohio State a quality opponent for VT.

What baffled me all game is our lack of ANY interest in running the ball with our backs. It's like we conceded the running game to VT. Which honestly with VT was being as reckless as they were with disregarding our passing game I suppose it'd be tough to run the ball.

One final RANT here tonight. Why is it we rave so much about dontre, jalin and Samuel when we can't get them the ball in space? Also I don't want to hear any explanation but Dontre has been here for 16 games now and hasn't broke 1 big play on special teams or on offense. The excuse of he's not strong enough is BULL because neither was desean jackson, Ted Ginn or any Oregon Duck. WE HAVE FAILED TO PUT HIM IN POSITION TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

I've been a big fan of the style of offense Urban runs, but I'm starting to wonder about Herman. I'm starting to notice a trend in big games offensively and they are not good ones. We have been out coached in 3 of the past 4 games. ...arguably 4 of 5. Too much reliance on Braxtons athleticism and not developing other players Tonight it was evident.
