What good are wide receivers when there is no QB to throw to them and no O Line to protect the QB?

Do you guys not remember Clemson under Meyer? That game was far far worseThere were losses that hurt more but this is probably the most embarrassing one for me just in how unprepared and shitty the offense was. The defense did everything they could to hold off a really powerful Missouri offense and our offense came out like today was the first time they’d seen each other since November.
I would have never said bring in a transfer before tonight, but screw it. OSU has O-line issues. Will Howard would give us one year, and is just dynamic enough to be a filler. He is mobile and is a proven winner at a lesser program.Who know, but I don't think Brown or Kienholtz (again I'll give him some slack as a true freshman with virtually no reps who didn't expect to play) are the answer either. Brown has a limited sample size and hasn't looked like a world-beater when in there. Plus, his injury issues may be a legit concern. After tonight, the competition should be fully open in the spring.

I think it's mostly people gave Meyer more leeway cause he obviously won us an NC and had 2 at Florida.Yeah that game made me question whether Meyer was at a dead end. Then he hired Day/Wilson. This game isn't that, but it's hard to have optimism with how bad the OL is and so many questions at QB.
Alright, I hated the call and have major issues with Day's coaching and philosophy, but my cooler head has prevailed and I can admit that was over the line. I hope this was a major wakeup call for him thoRunning the ball on 2nd down. Ryan Day is a pussy. I'll take a ban for that
Yeah but Meyer never seemed to be this stubborn. When something didn't work, he changed it.Yeah that game made me question whether Meyer was at a dead end. Then he hired Day/Wilson. This game isn't that, but it's hard to have optimism with how bad the OL is and so many questions at QB.
Though you weren't going to even watch the game because it wasn't up to your standards? Guess you lied to us all huh?I'm so annoyed I didn't put more money on Missouri when the line was -6 in favor of Ohio State.
Easy call with a fraud like Day
Some of the biggest whiners seem to be folks who swore they weren't even going to bother watching because it was "meaningless" and not worth their time. Nothing but bandwagon bitches.Looking back at the beginning of the thread and some of the "meaningless game" crowd sure seem pissed off now. Why?
