tOSU vs Missouri, Goodyear Cotton Bowl, Friday Dec. 29, 8 ET on ESPN

Defense is in the verge of holding this Mizzou team to their lowest offensive output by far of the year, but go off.
Yeah but teams running it down our throat during the 4th qtr has become a hallmark of the Knowles era. If you want to hire a solid DC, I think that neither the PAC-12 (Grinch) nor the Big 12 (Knowles) are the fields to harvest.

Substitute once and a while so that doesn't happen, you can do that?
To emphasize this snap counts just came out. From elevenwarriors. I'll only copy this bit cause they deserve hits for their content but suffice it to say the LB/DBs were even worse.

DEFENSIVE ENDS
Jack Sawyer: 61
JT Tuimoloau: 54
Kenyatta Jackson Jr.: 21
Caden Curry: 10
Mitchell Melton: Special teams only

Sawyer topped 60 defensive snaps for just the second time all season and played more snaps than Tuimoloau for just the third time all year, and he made the most of them as Ohio State’s most dominant defender against Missouri, registering a career-high three sacks to tie OSU’s bowl game sack record. Sawyer was on the field for all but 12 of Ohio State’s defensive snaps in the season finale.

Jackson tied his season-high for snaps played as he rotated in for 21 snaps as Ohio State’s third defensive end in the Cotton Bowl. Curry, who played one more defensive snap than Jackson during the regular season, played less than half as many snaps as Jackson against Missouri.

DEFENSIVE TACKLES
Tyleik Williams: 59
Mike Hall: 48
Ty Hamilton: 21
Hero Kanu: 9
Kayden McDonald: 4
Tywone Malone: 2

Maybe injuries were more significant than we knew... Brown was still gimpy on the right ankle he hurt months ago. Hall was still damaged and got hurt again. Eich, Stover... Henderson? Harrison? JT? Proctor? Egbuka?
Altho... Brown's gimpy ankle should have made Day max amt of time Kienholz or even Gebbia were prepped... or OL drills
So dangerous changing out a new center... even if the old center was barely average... he's still been the one calling assignment changes...

I always watch the team as they come out of the tunnel. Are they pumped up or just jogging out.
Maybe that’s not a thing anymore, I don’t know.

But, I honestly can’t remember the last time I a saw a Ryan Day team coming out of tunnel looking hyped up and ready to play.

They certainly looked flat coming out for this one and I immediately thought oh boy this doesn’t look good.
