Perhaps this is for another thread, but these are wrong opinions.

People have complained for years that SC is gimmicky trash, and they finally try out a format that's more low-key and news-based and people are [Mark May]ting on it right away?

So far it looks like a late-night talk show, but they talk about sports instead of things that suck. It's also has some of the DNA of George Michael's Sports Machine - for those who remember it. I'm inclined to watch this over Fallon or Kimmel as I go to bed, that's for sure.

My issue with it wasn't as much the content, but the fact that SVP was VERY robotic. But I think in time he'll calm down. First game jitters. We all know how that is after watching the game beforehand :)

Discussed this with my dad during the game, but 42 has been the magic number lately- IU, TTUN, Bama, Oregon, and now VaTech.

All of those while generally losing the turnover battle in a high margin (The Game being the exception). Multiple repeated occurrences seems to indicate a pattern that will continue- how many times will we continue wondering "if only they cut back on mistakes!" Maybe that's just who they are. But you can't help but think about it- the result probably looks like 59-0, the only complete game the Buckeyes have really played in the last year. It's frustrating/concerning/and scary good all at the same time.

Well, 42 IS the answer to life, the universe, and everything.
