Bell and Conley were in on that last TD, with Webb and E Smith.

Lattimore, Hooker, EGW, Ward, Burrows were all suited up but didn't play. Cam might've been on ST.

Unless I missed something, no true freshmen played.

Very solid win. Nearly 600 yards of total offense and 42 points on a Bud Foster defense. Braxton was everything I was hoping he'd be and more. That spin move was filthy. Defense worries me a bit. If Brewer doesn't get injured, this game could have been much closer.

Best thing about 1 and 0 chance to go 2 and 0, not the best game by the line or Cardale or the defense in passing situations or by the playcalling but we have a few games to fix those issues now and we also get back a handful of guys. This team is going to be scary good on offense we barely used Zeke and we were without some starts and still put up 42 in Blacksburg in a sloppy at times game. Gonna be a great season.

And our game plan was apparently to have our QB run the few plays he's not terribly great at... just because... we can do stuff like that and get away with it.

Double digit favorites and covered the spread against a very game squad in Blacksburg while missing 4 key starters. Perfect start. Great win with a lot of things to get better on makes it a little easier on corch Meyer

Yeah I think it's one of those best case scenario wins. Came away dominating towards the end, but they got a serious scare and still have plenty to work on and preach to the players. And no injuries.

I was 100% Team Cardale, but I honestly felt as bad for JT as much I did good for Cardale at the beginning.

On the bright side JT has 2 more years to be the starting QB. I would have felt bad for Brax since this is his last year, but it will be better for his career moving to HB and he was fucking awesome.

Yeah that does concern me, wondering what would've happened if Brewer hadn't gotten injured.
