tOSU Transfer Portal Recruiting Discussion

And I am of the opinion that I’m tired of protecting egos. Bring in all the talent and let the cream rise. I want dogs that want to fight for that bone. Period.
If it was a normal recruitement I'd be fine with that attitude.

But it's a last minute transfer when a kid Committed to you and recruited for you. It's not so much about Air. Though I like the kid we'll be fine with or without him just like Ewers. It's about doing right by him doing right by recruits in general.

I understand what you’re saying. But in an NIL world with kids making lots of money to play college football I think things like this will be more common place. It’s a different beast now and Noland could transfer in April even if Sayin doesn’t come here. It’s the Wild West. Go gunslinging

I agree. It's a new day and not only are there new rules, nobody really knows what the new rules are. If you like Sayin as much or more than Noland, bring him in and let things work themselves out.

It’s a business now more than ever. For everyone.

And in that world there is only one directive for players or teams. Do what helps you the most. When you start cashing those checks, all bets are off.

Even criticism now will be different. Nobody will be handled with kid gloves anymore since they aren’t really amateurs.

It’s a new world.

Look at Ewers coming here to get paid early and then quickly bolts.

It goes both ways man. That’s just the way it is now.

You don’t say no to the #1 player at the most important position. I don’t care who is already in the fold.
