tOSU Transfer Portal Recruiting Discussion

This makes too much sense. So won't happen. I am also a bit doom and gloom after the last few months though. He didn't look great against Oregon.
He didn't look good because he was behind Liberty's OL.

If he came to OSU ..... Never mind.

Well at least he's solid run threat, so he has that going for him.

If we miss on Will Howard and he goes to USC, realistically, what's the game plan here for the Bucks?
There’s still some decent QB’s available….id also say, some of the verbal commits via transfer portal aren’t set in stone so there’s some guys that may have verbals hit haven’t technically enrolled (Finn, Tyler Van Dyke)….not that I necessarily want either.

Ill come back with a list shortly, but I’m confident OSU brings a QB in….i think it will be Howard but if not, there’s a plan B.

Just a few names that college football buffs will know, that are likely upgrades over what we have in room.

List:
Diego Pavia (New Mexico State) - Duel threat….not the passer of Will Howard but kid is a bruiser and a legit player.

Jordan McCloud (James Madison)…incredible year. Solid duel threat. Year sputtered when they faced increased competition but kid can play.

Matthew Sluka (Holy Cross)….prob a large reach but kid has fire and puts up huge numbers. I think he’s waiting for dominos to fall and will land in a great spot.

I’d put Kaidon Salter on list but think it’s a flrehone conclusion he goes to Barn.

Dequan Finn is still a wild card to me….Toledo to OSU is a short distance and I think for his professional development, OSU makes the most sense. Again, these guys have verbaled, not signed.

I’m interested to see how this plays out….bottom line, I don’t see OSU taking a player that will piss off Air Noland who is a freak. I like Kienholz, but I could see a scenario where they bring in a QB with 2 years of eligibility. Could create some friction.

I think Devin Brown now faces in an uphill battle….he can’t stay healthy and has looked pedestrian at best with time he’s been on field.
