Who saw the propaganda spinning this way? Oh.....everybody paying attention. That's who.

By this "logic", does a win by Michigan State solidify a B1G spot? Of course not.....all they did was beat Ohio State.

They want so badly for our beloved Bucks to be irrelevant....sad.....I think they do their best to put us down when they can because that opportunity doesn't come all that often, the question becomes why the bias?

The huge irony
If a B1G team goes undefeated... then the B1G is obviously irrelevant and a shitty conference
lose a game.. and the B1G is obviously irrelevant and a shitty conference

SEC - lose a game or even 2.. it's because SEC is a powerhouse conference

Bigger irony... give the Bowl owners first choice.. of a B1G team with any record whatsoever or an SEC team with an impeccable record
and they'll take the BiG team in a heartbeat because of the following

ESPN is self serving and will never get over the B1G flipping them the bird with the success of the B1G channel

Heard somewhere this morning (ESPN?) "If OSU wins this Saturday, which I expect to happen, then that seals it.. Big 10 will be out of the natl playoffs"

Joey Galloway's comment unfortunately rings true: "The Virginia Tech loss early in the season, every time Virginia Tech loses, people act like Ohio State has lost another game." JFC, people refuse to take into consideration that it was second game of the season, we had a QB who had never taken a snap in college and no snaps since early his senior year in high school, along with having virtually a brand-new OL (second fewest combined starts in the country). Even ESPN's Sean McDonough said that if the game was played now Ohio State would "smoke them". I fear the committee does little thinking on it's own and is little more than guise for outside interests.

I think a key to this game will fall on how the D line plays. Stop the run and force Cook to hurry his throws that will be step 1. Next step the Secondary needs to shut down the WR's from getting open. If we can disrupt the pocket and get after Cook early and our DB's can hold their own i think it can force turnovers. Would like to see a couple-few sacks and an INT or 2 and some big plays on special teams. Going to be a hard battle physically and mentally. As much as I love to see the explosive plays I think this game will need that grind it out style to eat up the clock and keep our offense on the field. Can't miss the redzone opportunities either. Last thing, i expect Sparty to try hitting the flats early to try and open up downfield if we shut down the run game(which I believe we will do. With that being said, good guys 28 sparty 17

Remember when ESPN only had NCAA football, and 3 baseball games a week, and the rest of the time, it was sportscenter/baseball tonight reruns and shows where 45 year old steroid freaks drug boulders around with chains?

If OSU (or MSU) wins out, they belong in the playoff.

MSU/OSU (play this week)
Bama/Mississippi State (play in a few weeks)
TCU/K State (play this week)
Oregon
FSU

The SEC shouldn't get consideration for two spots when there are five teams with legitimate claims. If this is anywhere close to how it looks in a month then I think the Big 12 Champ shouldn't get in.

I wish it were more feasible to have an eight team playoff. Then ESPN could have its SEC circle jerk and all power five conferences would have representation.

I don't think each conference deserves to have representation automatically. If there are 2 SEC teams better than all but 2 other teams, they belong in the final four. I don't think there are this year....but that doesn't mean there hasn't been or won't be 2 teams from the same conference that are better than teams from other conferences.
