Cincinnati Princeton RB (Miami OH commit) Jordan Hall will be taking an unofficial visit to OSU for the Ball State game.

Recently offered by Penn State. Missed his entire Jr season due to injury at LaSalle. Won the MVP honors at the Cbus UA camp in May. There, he ran a 4.43-second 40-yard dash, had a 4.12-second shuttle, a 9-foot, 1-inch broad jump and a 30.4-inch vertical. Add in a 10.72-second 100m time from track. Could be a steal.

Does anyone who follows recruiting know if Ohio State has looked at Roman Combs out of Lakota West? He's a huge DB/Ath who I saw get 2 interceptions against St. X in week 1 and either an int or fumble return for a 48 yard touchdown against Lakota East in week 2. Not sure what he did tonight, but they got another win.

He was the difference in Lakota West defeating Princeton in last year's basketball matchup, despite all the more hyped-up blue chip prospects in that game. I think he was suspended for the basketball playoffs due to something with his transfer (maybe from the Louisville area?), and who knows if Princeton wins the state title if Combs is back on the court for Lakota West in the playoffs.

I know he is currently committed to Purdue for football (over offers from Indiana, Penn State, Iowa, Illinois), but man, with those ball skills at 6'4" and about 200 lbs, he is a nice looking prospect, and a winner. Just wondering if those who actually follow recruiting have heard anything.

I honestly haven't heard anything but I'll do a deep dive to try and find out some info bc that sounds intriguing

Too put it plainly, hes not good enough at this time for OSU compared to the DBs they have coming in. Hes listed as a CB, but I think he eventually moves to S. But if he stays at CB, Malone is faster and more athletic and Carey has the tools to turn into a shutdown CB and also is faster and plays against the best competition in the country every week. TBH, Eli Johnson is a better version of Combs. They’re 1in apart in height, but same weight. Johnson plays in TX 5A, so he plays some top competition each week and also is known for his closing speed and ball skills but at a better level.
