2026 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Yea, I mentioned LB because they seemed to be chasing one aggressively.(i.e. Scheduling an OV for the Curry kid from Florida and the recent interest in Williams) JL is rumored to be visiting Williams this Friday. If true he might be closing in on an offer.

RB was just pure speculation on my part. With five in the room from the 24 and 25 classes, I was looking at the potential for one or two of them to enter the portal.(especially Dixon who already tried to bolt once.) Add in the potential of Georges being the only back in the 27 class (due to NIL limitations) I thought it may make sense to taking another one in 26 if you could find one you like. But I think you're right, the portal may be a better solution to that problem.
Really like what Jacob Curry brings to the table. Great instincts. Good speed.

According to Alex Gleitman at Letterman Row, there is some buzz that USC is having some issues with their financial package for Wafle. If true it could be one of the first signs that schools are having issues getting approval of NIL deals through the CSC clearing house.
Thanks for the info, just included it in the Luke Wafle thread

Wonder if this extends to other positions, such as a certain CB out of Hoban.

Interesting. Kinda wonder whether whether the kid burned a bridge or three, was pissed off at tOSU, or whatever. Hard telling, but admire tOSU coaches for giving it the old college try. One never knows whether the recruit sees a quicker way to the field with another team, has a solid NIL package (not even certain what that means!), or has a girlfriend at the new school. All seems a bit fluid to me. I do admire a recruit standing by their decision to stay where they've committed, and question the motives of a school that keeps trying to recruit over the kid before letting them know his scholarship is revoked......games within games within games.
