I don't know if the BRPT will collectively assemble like an episode of Captain Planet or Power Rangers, so I will just throw out my perspective as a member. I think the number will be 2 RB's, subject to change if we have transfers. Davis is an absolute take imo, he is so good you cannot pass on him. Jackson I really want, but there are only two total RB's in the '25 class after the haul in '24....so we would take Jordon Davison over either Ohio guy imo even though it is a one or the other scenario with Davis/Jackson if that fortuitous event happens in landing Davison. On Davison, we have a very real chance of winning that one, though we are going to have an absolute battle for him.Question for the BPRT….Are we looking at 2 RBs in 25? If so, are Davis and Jackson the backs at the top of the board?
Thanks @RB07OSU, appreciate that information. Always concerned too about losing one of these guys to someone like UM, MSU or PSU, etc.I don't know if the BRPT will collectively assemble like an episode of Captain Planet or Power Rangers, so I will just throw out my perspective as a member. I will say that I am very happy we have two great Ohio RB's and if Davis and Jackson are our RB class in '25, I would love that. But Davison is and should be the top target imo, then we can sort out the other two if we land Davison.
No problem, it is a great question...I think the answer is aggressively recruit them all and hopefully things sort themselves out. I hate thinking of either Jackson or Davis ending up at a rival, but unfortunately that happens when you recruit at the level we are. I'll just say that if we get Davison and one of the Ohio RB's burns us one year ala Ryan Brewer at SC, I will not blame the staff for that because Davison is objectively the best RB target in the nation and should be prioritized if there is a real shot. Thanks @RB07OSU, appreciate that information. As far as the BPRT assembling goes, I always look forward to their assessment at the end of the cycle!
Just my $.02 to go with RB. But OSU will definitely sign 2 RBs in ‘25 and restock the room. Davis and Jackson are not at the top of the board, IMO, Jordan Davison from Mater Dei would be #1. After that, the list gets jumbled, but the 2 OH RBs are there. But 2 other names that are definitely realistic options are Tory Blaylock from TX and Byron Louis from FL. Both are speedsters who are home run threats in the run and passing game. That’s 5 VERY talented RBs, and OSU only needs 2.Question for the BPRT….Are we looking at 2 RBs in 25? I feel a BPRT Fantastic Four moment coming
Winton Woods offensive tackle Raphael Greene confirmed to Eleven Warriors he’ll visit Ohio State on March 23 with several of his high school teammates. The 6-foot-6, 320-pound Greene has visited OSU twice as a recruit but hasn’t been on campus since last spring.
“Ohio State is a really good school and I’ve been up there before, this time when I go I really want to try and talk to as many coaches as I can,” Greene said. “Get them to know as much as they can about me. I already sort of have a relationship with coach (Justin) Frye, but I’m trying to build more of a relationship this time around.”

OSU has had success recruiting Winton Woods, landing alums such as Miyan Williams, Jerron Cage and most recently, Jermaine Mathews. Greene is not your typical Ohio prospect, as he moved to Cincinnati a few years ago from London, England. While he may not have the sentimental value one would have if he grew up cheering for OSU, Greene feels a connection to OSU because of the success past Winton Woods players have had with the Buckeyes.
“Since I’ve been in Ohio, Ohio State has been a big deal at my school. Especially with Jermaine and Miyan, of course we know all about them,” Greene said. “They bring out great players, and I am an Ohio State fan, it’s a really good school.”
Greene was a rugby player in London, then started playing high school football two years ago after his move.
Greene played right tackle in his first year at Winton Woods before moving to left tackle last year. And he might just be scratching the surface of the player he can become.
