2025 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Certainly hard to decipher, but isn't that the Ohio State logo to the right and upward of the 'Oregon' logo? Put my 'old man' magnifying glass on it, and it surely does. Shows that the Buckeyes are a smidge under 16 yards per play, and with an almost 80% success rate. Just listened to Josh Pate say he's taking the Ducks even up to win Saturday night. Mostly for the Buckeyes, but others saying Ducks as well. We'll see. Go Bucks!

I'm going to stop even looking at the recruiting of players not located on either line anymore. Skill players are everywhere so if we don't see double the line recruiting on both sides going forward I am probably going to get a lot louder
Well if we keep the DL recruits in this class, then mission accomplished there because it is a great DL class. I really like the OL commits we have, but concerned on numbers if we don't hit the portal right (which we have done with some success in Simmons and McLaughlin). I do agree on your overall point - we gotta make the trenches a focal point or else it is hard to celebrate the skilled position players that we have come in.

It's quiet in the crootin trail lately, to close this class out are we looking for 1-2 more DL(Stewart, Autry), 1-2 more OL (GA Tech commit, DeBose) 1 DB (McNutt?) while holding on to Offord, 1 more RB (Turbo Bama commit)?
Yeah we cleaned up early, so not a whole lot of work to do to finish out the class. Really the names you said are what the key remaining targets are. I would only add Brew to someone that we pursue until the end, but I don't think we sway him from Oregon unfortunately. That said, if we could pull away one of Brew or McNutt and keep Offord, that would be incredible.
