2023 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

We don't need that TE. Knee-jerk reactions to recent failures are how we end up with another Cooper situation. The entire program doesn't need revamped and reorganized. Just a couple focuses need to be improved and in the NIL world, we need a better strategy. Execution is where the program is having trouble not getting good enough kids to Columbus. Just an attitude adjustment

Dude once again phrashing you really need a better shortened word for that.

And considering most never heard of him till today I'd say no one is surprised

xfer is better than tranny for shorthand to describe a transfer player.

2 less letters to type to boot

Having trouble with tranny and tight end.

Transit TE, Traveling TE, Tourist TE, Repo TE, Baggage claim TE, Referral TE, Pre-Owned TE, Lend Lease TE, Land grab TE, Dark Money TE, Timed Delay TE, Requisitioned TE, Instant Replay TE...

TransEnd

remember Muldoon from World According Garp…..played by John Lithgow?

Yep, Tight End for the Eagles from the city of Brotherly Love. What I remember more was his crashing into the rear end of his wife's car not realizing that she was giving her teen lover a blow job. Oh and watching a biplane crash into a house and deciding to buy the house on the misapplication of the rules of random numbers, "Well, if an airplane just crashed into that house, the odds of it happening again are almost none." Wonderful movie. Wonderful book.

If the MD TE is coming, it's a trade for an existing guy.

the value of a well rounded TE is massively underrated for OSUs offenze. yes they've been underutilized as pass catchers, but strong 2 TE sets have been the lifeblood of the stronger teams in the last 15 years.

they have not had steady play out of their first TE let alone two for a few years now. They've been missing the Farrell / Heuerman types. The potential to add a guy with freakish upside like Jelani is enticing. Needs a running mate.

I was guessing this might be the case so was curious as @Bestbuck36 thoughts here. If I recall staff wanted two in this class.
