2022 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

I like it, but there's not a better LB in the country than Captain Buckeye. But hey, it'll all bear out on the field. Glad to have both these guys on board, they've got a great chance at playing early. Definitely feeling better each week with our LBs, but I think there's a chance for some real PT if Hicks and Powers are as advertised.

The difference (.97850 - .97225 = .00625) is insignificant. Even if Perkins is .00625 better; Hicks has the intangibles and is definitely a better fit for Ohio State.

Day has been doing some traveling today across the West Coast, in Lincoln Riley’s new territory. I see why USC bribed Linc with the PJ (private jet)…Ryan visited the Branch Bros, Hero Kanu, and now his QB target for the class in Devin Brown…wonder if he squeezed anyone else into his jam-packed agenda. Gotta love the fact that he’s wasting no time hittin the trail. It’s a nice silver lining to the fact that if OSU had beaten UM, these visits wouldn’t have happened

"All that glitters is not gold....." Can imagine the sweet talking that Satan did to get him to Bama, and can see the same sh** spewing forth to keep JC there. Maybe with a new and better OL coach, Day can convince him to move up to C'bus? We could use him. With all our tackles becoming guards, there seems to be a dearth of real tackles available, especially with the current pair of starters graduating....Go Bucks!

I think Buckeyes are relatively set at OT next year with Dawand staying at Right Tackle and Paris Johnson moving to his natural position at LT (maybe I shouldn’t assume NPF is moving on tho…I’m not sure).

Matt Jones becomes full time starter likely next to Wypler with Harry Miller sliding in as a starter as well.

The following year will be interesting….We could certainly use an infusion of talent/depth.
