My guess is that Ohio State is getting negative recruited like crazy over the fact that the Buckeyes have commitments from four top-100 WRs. What running back wants to come play in an "air raid" offense?

All of our WRs save for Mookie have been committed for months though. You'd think that would've scared off BR and Knighton LONG before now. I still think there's something going on behind the scenes.

My thoughts exactly. Which makes no sense but whatever.

I do think Day is being labeled as a big time passing guy and it may hurt RB recruiting.

EJ Smith is gonna be a Buckeye. I watched his film...they line him up at WR and he has great ball skills. He has more power than Knighton but not as quick. He would be a great get at APB.

Seems like its very important for a.) the staff to use Dobbins effectively this year and b.) for Dobbins to put up some big numbers. The best response to negative recruiting is to debunk it on the field.

Fields running is a game changer in a good way for Dobbins and the offense. Got to keep Fields and Dobbins healthy. Fields has been "durable" so far in his brief career. Dobbins has been able to stay healthy and his stats prove that. He could be one of the great ones by the time he's done. And the young guys behind Dobbins are quality backs with a great future. Alford can recruit great backs.

If that's the worse they can use, well, I think we're gonna be more than just a passing fad. Alford is a terrific recruiter.
