Probably the right play imo, unless Cowan is considered a DE...I want him in this class badly.

I think that he's openly stated that he wants to have a shared backfield.

this was my thoughts exactly... given the nature of the beast especially for RBs in the NFL you gotta get your money quick... splitting time in college will help prolong that
