I wouldn't give a single penny to that collective without full disclosure of their books. They've given me a shady vibe since day 1.

That’s why you don’t count on getting money from all 11 million people.I wouldn't give a single penny to that collective without full disclosure of their books. They've given me a shady vibe since day 1.
Benefactors seems to be the term here. Turn it into a contest. Grey level, Scarlet level, Gold Pants level type stuff. That’s why you don’t count on getting money from all 11 million people.
It’s just as important to know who isn’t a customer as it is to know who is. You focus on the people willing to donate and don’t spend any resources on non customers.
Personally I’d make that the icing on the cake but would focus my energy on the mass market approach for small donations. It cost less to manage a pretty straightforward marketing campaign and you don’t have to really provide a ton of costly benefits. Additionally, it’s pretty easy to forecast as a base amount moving forward and you don’t have to put up with the pain in the ass big donor.Benefactors seems to be the term here. I think if they set it up like a low subscription amount, like Spotify and Netflix, people would be more inclined.I wouldn't give a single penny to that collective without full disclosure of their books. They've given me a shady vibe since day 1.
they already tried that so they could get more reputable faculty, so they could get higher academic rankings and attract more research $$$.Can't we just increase tuition on the student body and let them take out larger student loans?

I now have Sally Struthers visions after typing that.
I hope this is a joke…Can't we just increase tuition on the student body and let them take out larger student loans?
Alabama is about to create almost their whole team through the Portal this off season. But other than that, spot onAnd, here is the 21st century way of equalizing the college football teams. The upper tier teams don't seem to rely on the portal, except for key positions of need. Teams that are floundering (eg. Colorado, Michigan St) can play 'build a team' pretty easily, as they have a larger need. Ergo, let's see if Colorado becomes a force in the Pac 12 next year. MSU had it's fling last year, but when the mercenaries moved on, were left with holes in their recruiting classes. Just my opinion.
