2018 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Thanks Jax, must have missed that. Good list, looks like Urb could have a 'pre-frosh' team for Spring. Not sure if I'm asking redundant question, but I thought that prior year February signings, plus early signings had to equal (or less) than 25. I get that you can sign greater than 25 on 'normal' (Feb) signing, if there is the space, AND a team has space to have some enter school in January (reference the Colorado tackle that flipped because he couldn't enroll early). Expect there are some new wrinkles that have evolved with this early signing period.......thanks for clearing the fog away. Go Bucks!

The rule has never been in relation to "signings". It has to do with "initial counters" - which are scholarship players who join the team during the academic calendar year. So a kid who signs and enrolls early counts towards last years initial counters. But if he signs and does not enroll until the fall he counts towards this year.

Just looking at the recruiting rankings on Scout.

The difference between 2nd (Texas) and 3rd (Miami) is 3 points.
Georgia is 14 points back in 4th.
All the way down to Alabama at 10th the greatest difference between any two places is 10 points.

OSU is ahead of Texas by 26 points.
Is this after the Jarren Williams commit to Miami?

I wonder if with the decommitment of Cox if the staff looks at some guys in state like Malik Vann or Alex Reigelsberger as well as continuing to pursue national recruits

Not my first choice but with Alexander returning to TE (injury)and if Farrell and Hauserman step up, plus Rucker coming in, we could possibly move Berry back to DE in a worse case scenario.
Methinks that playing for THE OSU is going to bring in a good one for us. Gotta know the coaches are on this.
