Bishop Gorman 4-star DB @BubbBolden says Urban Meyer himself offered him a scholarship. #OhioState makes 22 offers
So this has nothing to do with Okudah? Sorry if this is a repeated question, but I cringe every time I see an offer to a possible safety.
Josh posted this right above your postSo this has nothing to do with Okudah? Sorry if this is a repeated question, but I cringe every time I see an offer to a possible safety.
6'2.5" 200 lbs puts him square into potential LB territory as well. With Hines likely headed to OU and Browning a dogfight, he could fill a need at LB.
He's not in college. Its hard to say that he's a natural anything yet. He's a very good HS S, and at 6'3 190lbs could very well put on enough weight by his frosh year and play OLB in this defense. If he were to RS that's a very real possibility just like it is for Pryor and White who have similar builds. And I say Hooker as having a thinner build than Bolden as he had a basketball players long and lean body while Bolden is stacked with more muscle like a football player whos been playing a lot longerBubba Bolden is a natural safety in college and not a LB at all.
Similar to Malik Hooker in height, weight and other ways.
I know we've all been concerned about the amount of scholarships in this recruiting class, but there's a realistic chance (albeit slim) we could see even more guys leave for the NFL this year than we did last year.
Guys in their 3rd year that could potentially leave early after this year:
JT Barrett
Raekwon McMillian
Curtis Samuel
Noah Brown
Billy Price
Sam Hubbard
Tyquan Lewis
Marcus Baugh
Malik Hooker
Gareon Conley
Marshon Lattimore
more at Ohio State offers '17 LB Chandler Wooten, an Auburn commit: Buckeye BreakfastCOLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State offered a scholarship to three-star outside linebacker and Auburn commit Chandler Wooten of Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb on Sunday.
It was the same day five-star linebacker Dylan Moses of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG announced his commitment to Alabama, but who knows if Ohio State's offer to Wooten was reactionary.
