Defending Champs Have Huge Weekend
The Ohio State Buckeyes landed their top tight end target in the class-of-2016 in Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller's Jake Hausmann during Saturday’s junior day.http://247sports.com/Article/Weekend-Recruiting-Winners-USC-Wins-Wild-Weekend-35070568

They also scored perhaps their top target overall in the class-of-2017 in Miamisburg (Ohio) High five-star offensive tackle Josh Myers.

Hausmann was commit No. 6 for Urban Meyer and his staff in the junior class, with all ranking four-stars or better. The early start ranks No. 4 in the 247Sports Recruiting Rankings.

Myers was commit No. 4 for the Buckeyes in the class-of-2017, a class that already ranked No. 1 before the in-state blue-chipper got in the boat. Myers, along with fellow five-stars Shaun Wade and Bruce Judson along with four-star quarterback Danny Clark gives Meyer and his staff four Top50 commits to start the 2017 cycle.

In 2015, it sounds like Ohio State is close to flipping Kentucky defensive tackle commit Davon Hamilton following his weekend visit to Columbus. The Buckeyes have the No. 7 ranked recruiting class in the land.

Best scheme fits – Ohio State

Ohio State played three quarterbacks this fall, all seemingly better than the last. That's a good problem to have and will continue with the incoming freshmen. Torrance Gibson is the single-most athletic quarterback in the country and nobody had a better senior season than Joe Burrow. Both have the ability to keep Ohio State on a national title path.

THE "SECRET" FROM LAST NIGHT'S HURRY UP
Since it's now been posted elsewhere - the secret from this weekend was that Maryland offensive lineman Isaiah Prince did make an official visit to Ohio State this weekend, a day after committing to Bama and telling OSU that he was not going to make the trip.

Not sure what happens from here with Prince, but he wanted the visit to remain off the radar and we did what we could to respect that. Buckeyes felt his visit went well, but still expect him to make a decision come signing day. Prince arrived at Ohio State on Saturday morning with his parents and stuck around until this morning.

So with the limit of 25 are we out of the race for Beckner and other guys or how does this work?

Haven't been following recruiting closely till recently.

To my understanding the max amount of signees is 25 and we reached that today

I believe 28 is the cap for the B1G since you can count up to 3 guys who early enrolled last year. Or count 3 guys who early enrolled this year on last years class. Something like that. I'm still guessing it will be 1 more guy, but who knows. Technically can sign 3 more, 4 if Liam greyshirts.

The 25 limit is per academic year. Early enrollees count against last year. No limit on those other than total of fall and winter must be under 26.

IIRC the 28 limit is on LOIs that you can have out at one time (you can't send out 35 and take the first 25 who sign them).
