This defense should be lights out for many years
Absolutely elite/amazing/'feel guilty of the riches' level..

I like the offensive playmakers...
but I'd feel better with elite O-linemen in the fold

Initial things I read for 2014... kinda implies more of the same
Another boatload of elite defenders
Very impressive offensive playmakers
but I want ALL of the elite O-linemen... ALL of them

PS How's our placekicking look?

I was just about to mention this. In years past, we miss a guy like Quick (and everyone else announcing at the AA games and beyond), only to make a major downgrade. We miss a Major Wright and add a Rocco Pentello (not a disrespect to Pentello but one is a pro and the other transferred D2). To illustrate:

1) Neal and Anzalone decommit at LB: We upgrade with Mitchell and T. Johnson.

2) We miss on Quick and Jacobs flips to Maryland (maybe Gibson, though I think he was held out due to grades): We at the very least offset and likely upgrade overall by adding Smith, Wilson, and Clark.

3) Elliott: Obviously the jury is out but I am really hoping he stays. If not, at least Wilson can play RB if need be and the talent is equivalent in my eyes.

- Only real area we didn't recover in was at OT but I expect us to address that next year. And at all the other positions, we basically got the guys we wanted in the first place. Again, this class is well defined by the guys we got, not by the ones we missed. Now Mr. Elliott, put an exclamation point on this class.

Interesting, I was thinking it was more like a hot pair of Swedish model twins who lost all of their clothes in a strange car accident that left them disoriented, lonely, and needing a shower.

You can have your cake... and eat it too.
