Game Thread tOSU @ Maryland, Oct 4th @ 12pm ET, ABC

Terps looked good against....Indiana. Too much speed for the Hoosiers to handle. And Indiana may have been flat after last weeks win over Missouri.
But we new this would be a team that had a nice QB(2 actually) and explosive WRrs. Defense is decent, too.
Will be another wild one and maybe a shootout.

Maryland is a good ball club.

Already seen more Terrapin games this year than I probably had the last 5 years now that they are B1G. Good RB, plus we all know Stefon Diggs. Very talented team and this will be huge test on the road.

Should be a ranked team, honestly.

As long as our DBS play the way they dd yesterday, I'll be worried. AmdnMaryland has some WRs that can make us pay. But I don't see us losing to them. I see this game going to similar how the UC game did, a couple of explosive plays by Maryland, but OSU eventually pulling away and winning big. I don't see many defenses coming up that will be able to stop Barrett and his ability to spread the ball and find open men. And if EzE runs in the same fashion for the rest of the season, OMG watch out! The kid is a dual threat in the run and pass game.

I realize Indiana has Coleman at RB but if Indiana can go for 200+ rushing yards when they were behind all game (should have been throwing a lot to catch up) then I am not concerned about our offense. If we can run the ball our play action game will be lethal.

The question is our defense. For once I would just be tickled to death if we could just put together a solid defensive performance when playing a good team (good not great). It's normally either giving up rushing yards or passing yards would it be too much to ask for a 250-290 yards allowed for one damn game? No big plays and we win big but if we give up big plays we very well could lose.

We have got to get pressure on the QB because Maryland will be looking deep to Diggs.
