The penalty on Braxton was bull[Mark May]...he blocked that guy in the hip.

I thought the flag for block below the waist was fine. Can not go low at all down there. It tears up knees. He didn't have to go low. Get a body in front of him was enough.

It appeared that Braxton's initial contact was at the hips/waist and as they fell he ended up with contact "below the waist".

Serious question: Is it where the offensive guy initiates the contact or where he ends up?

Word is Beck forgot to bring the orange slices and sent Samuel back to Columbus to get them. Took a 'copter so he should be in for the 2nd half.

I didn't say that he was playing poorly. I said that he forces Ohio State out of its base offense, out of its comfort zone. The coaching staff needs to adjust and figure out ways to use Jones effectively - some sort of pro-style offense.

This is definitely the case. I don't see JT getting the nod to play the rest of the way in mop up duty. Coaches need to figure out how to best use CJ. This game will be a test of CJs mettle and his ability to lead the team to a win from behind.

Positives:
We are only down by four despite a dismal first half performance by the Offense
Our Offense IS moving the ball. Just need to convert it into points
The OL was giving CJ tons of time to throw. Hopefully he will settle down and hit some wide open receivers
Correct the miscues and we should be good to go
The D is playing really well (with the help of some dropped passes)
The DL is getting lot's of pressure on the IU QB (hopefully will convert into some sacks and turnovers in 2nd half)
The D is due to get a turnover or two

We're running read option plays with no "option" at QB that anyone fears. They're just attacking the runner. If Cardale keeps it they'll catch him.
