tOSU at Wiscy, Sat, 10/28, 7:30pm ET, NBC

Fuck Bucky. Never will forget how much I hated those assholes from '08-'11 when I was going to school at OSU, from the Bo Ryan "deal with it" (which we made him regret in the student section big time when he came back after that comment) to Fat Bert being an overweight Darth Vader on their sidelines. There is nothing I like about Wisconsin and I'm sorry Luke Fickell...I want to beat you by 50 on Saturday.

His transformation to Fat Bert wasn't complete until he switched up cheese curds to possum's pies down in Arkansas.

My regrets dragurd for living down in 'the land that time forgot'. Lived in East Texas some time ago, and that's what folk called Arkansas. Some great food in that corner of the country, from the beef (Texas), to the pork (Arkansas), to the frog legs/jumballajah, (Louisiana).

Just looked at StubHub. Price and availability seems pretty good. I may just drive up there on Saturday and see what I can get right before kick. Since I’m banished from the house anyhow, I may as well…
DO IT. As much as I hate Wisconsin, Camp Randall is an incredible college football venue and a really fun time. I have been a couple times and treated really well by their fans...super passionate but also hospitable.

There is a bar at the student union that was really cool, can't remember the name but if you ask around people will know it...sits right on a lake and would be beautiful at this point in the fall. Last time I went to a game there some 90 year old woman was doing the jump around on her walker, gotta respect that. Even if you don't go to the game, I am sure you will enjoy the gameday atmosphere there.

As to the game itself, I have not watched a ton of Wisconsin. I get the trepidation based on past years where we got beat when we shouldn't have. But I just don't see it this year. Defense is locked in with no signs of slowing down....Wisconsin has a QB with as many TDs (3) as interceptions (3). There is nobody our secondary shouldn't shut down. And he has been sacked 8 times. Allen is a solid RB but we will sell out on stopping him, which I think we will do mostly after we make them one-dimensional.

On offense, regardless of whether Henderson and/or Egbuka is out, we are going to be fine. We don't need a million points with our defensive play...just control the ball and capitalize when it matters. Foreign concept after Tressel left, but it works if the defense does its job.

In sum, I don't think we give up more than 10-14 points and that will win the game if so. That said, I think we score in the range of 30-40 points and it is not close. Wisconsin does not match up well against our team this year. 38-10 Ohio State is my prediction.

As much as I'm enjoying following the scUM scandal, I hope it's not a distraction for the team this week. Coaches, and many current players, were part of those screw jobs. They've got to be pretty pissed off.

But Fickell's boys will be fired up for a night game against his old school. They'll play hard. Bucks will need to be focused on the task at hand.

I would imagine our team is amused by all the updates, but different year and different team. Enjoy the media attention to it in the brief moments between game prep, workouts, class, etc. The last week of November however...use that all you want to be pissed and unleash furry on those skunkweasels.

Hard to focus on this weekends game with all the news coming from the north, but we basically destroyed Wisky last year. Up 28-0 at the end of the first quarter. It would be nice to see us get a sizeable early lead again but we don't have the Offensive fire power that we had last year.
Our Defense though is totally different and I don't see the home team moving the ball on us very much. They are similar to ND and PSU. Just stop the run and we will have the game in hand.

Agreed. Got seats in S, row 27… so roughly 40 yard line.

It is a nice way to pass the time until Saturday night imo. But yeah, I actually think we are better and Wisky is worse this year, and we drubbed them last year. If Allen is stopped or limited, there isn't really a solution for the Badgers. I have been very realistic on games this year (said ND and PSU would be a close defensive battle), and being honest on this one I don't see a scenario where Wisconsin keeps it within one score. Looks like Egbuka and Henderson are back on offense, so a lot of firepower on that side, and the defense is too much for their offense...they have a really bad offense and if they get down early, it will look like last season.

Atta boy. Enjoy the game and hit up the student union for a beer on Friday if you get in on time to go. You'll have a good time no matter what.
