I'm no expert... but Tolzein throwing the rock doesn't scare me. I can't even remember the last time we were gashed in the run game.

+1

Shut down Wiscy's running game (which I expect) and I don't think this one will be close. Playing at Madison at night doesn't worry me either....most of this team already has that experience.

Buckeyes- 34
Wiscy- 10

I would be surprised. I don't think he's ever put any other head piece on when Brutus was an option.

I'm pretty sure he put on the Trojan headpiece thing in 2008...I may be thinking of another game but I thought for sure that was a Gameday game when Ohio State was out there....

2008? Travis Beckum led their receiving core with 6 catches for 60 yards. I remember him tearing us up even if th elow yardage doesn't imply so.

Sure, but what I remember from the losses that we've suffered over the years to Wisconsin is the image of Ron Dayne and Booker Stanley running on first, second, third and sometimes fourth downs right down the heart of our D. Don't get me wrong, Lee Evan's catch ended up beating us. But the tone of the game was set in the trenches, and that's the way it should be with OSU-Wisconsin matchups.

They got a couple of great backs. I would be shocked if they put the game in Tolzein's hands.

He picked the Trojans the year Herbstreit's kids were on the set; they were stabbing him with the sword.

Whatever happened to our resident Wisky fan? I can't remember his name. But does anyone have any idea what Bucky fans are thinking about this game?

I check out the Wisky forums here and there and they seem to be worried about Pryors ability to throw the ball downfield this year. The Vermins secondary is small and not very deep. Sanz and Posey should have a great game as well as Saine out of the backfield or from the slot. We just match up much faster than their secondary. Also, alot of talk of putting a spy on Pryor but much concern of that spy meeting Mr. Stiffarm on the scramble. Not much confidence and they really are going to have to win upfront to stay in this game and establish a running game. They seem more worried about our pass attack rather than the run. We'll see. Should be a good one. I work nights 6-6 so will have to find a way to watch this one. I'll find a way. I consulted my play card and it said to watch the game or else my penis will fold into vagina lips. I have no choice, the card has spoken. :oh:

A Wisconsin viewpoint:

UW hopes to avoid recent history against Ohio State
Bielema is 0-3 vs. Buckeyes

What do you remember from the 31-13 loss last season in Columbus, Ohio?

Did you learn anything from that loss?

Offensive coordinator Paul Chryst didn't face the questions - only Bielema and players are available after games - but he offered an interesting spin on the showdown between the top-ranked Buckeyes (6-0, 2-0 Big Ten) and UW (5-1, 1-1) at 6 p.m. Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.

"I know you've got to talk about it and ask about it, but last year is last year," he said. "This year is this year. I don't think anything that happened last year has any bearing on how you approach this week. I really believe that.

"What more do you need? You've got Ohio State coming in. . . . Who gives a (expletive) about last year? That is the message."

In my opinion I don't think their defense is nearly as good as it was a year ago. They lost Schofield last year and Borland this year. I think our offense will be fairly effective against this Wisky D.

Also Valai has been banged up. Not sure if he will be out or not, but that is a big player out or not 100% up front, in the backers, and in the secondary. I really feel like TP will have a huge game. This game reminds me of the feeling I had prepping for the state penn game. Our speed on d is going to be huge. If the d line holds up their blockers, Rolle and Homan will full the holes easily. Their run game will be nulled and it is likely Toecream throws a pick or two just like he did the last two times we played them.

Bucks win going away... 31-13

I just found the bolded statement from a Whisky fan hilarous.....

Every Badger fan knows John Clay can't run over or through real competition, but the ranch has been bet that Bielema will pound him up the middle 20-plus times anyway, mostly for two yards or less. By the time Bielema let's White have most of the carries, it's too late.

Grinding out drives by having Clay run over defenders for 10 yards a crack sure is fun against Austin Peay and San Jose State, but OSU is counting on us to play good ol' "Wisconsin Football." Bielema will oblige them.

This is the biggest game of the year, the one Bielema should have been thinking about since March. If Bielema doesn't have at least two or three new looks on offense and a wrinkle on special teams, he isn't doing his job.

Saturday's drinking game -- every time Clay runs for one yard or less, you have to drink. Better get a designated driver.

No rocket scientist here, but I for one wouldn't be surprised if TP ran the ball 15-20 times, with half of those coming on 3rd & 5+. Their secondary is above average at best and I expect us to throw more than last year, but I bet TP keeps the chains moving with his legs more than anything else.

CFN but I guarantee you it was written by that douche Fiutak said:
Here?s The Deal ? The season begins now for Ohio State, the newly christened No. 1 team in the land. The first six games were nice, and even with a solid win over a Miami team that?s not that big a deal, and a sluggish win over an Illinois squad that isn?t all that bad, there hasn?t been a lot to get excited about.

Is CFN hiring its people from the Pat Forde win of eSPIN? :smash: :shake:

Not alot to get excited about? Right. Because having the highest score of the season isn't at all exciting. Having a Heisman worthy QB play extremely well isn't exciting. Watching the Silver Bullets run around laying people out isn't exciting. Dominating a BCS conference title contender, despite their woes, isn't exciting. Going on the road, in bad weather, against a team that routinely gives us fits, losing the aforementioned Heisman candidate for 3 series, having everything that could go wrong go wrong yet still winning isn't exciting.

Fuck these people, its a total joke, and it doesn't matter at all.

As far as Corso goes, I believe he has picked the favorite every time this season. So it'll be interesting if he continues with that trend...I think he'll go with Bucky, because "Ohio State doesn't have that 'SEC speed' and Bucky will ram John Clay down their throat and have White run to the outside." He's a fucking moron, has no idea what he's talking about. All I've heard him say this year was "SEC speed" and that there isn't a team in the B10 who would win against an SEC team in a bowl.

Again, fuck him, fuck the analysts, they don't play the game. Don't forget, he chose Oregon in the Rose Bowl because they would run around tOSU. So, theres that.

Go Bucks!!! :oh:
