Game Thread tOSU at NW'ern, Oct 5, 8 ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

After watching Northwestern destroy Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville it pretty much convinced me that the Wildcats would be serious contenders in their division. Plus we will get a good
look at them in their opener at California. If they can come home with a winner and beat the "Cues,"
this will make them a beast to beat in the BIG. Plus they will be watching us when we have to travel
out to play California. I think this will be a huge test for Ohio State in our Big10 opener. I thinks its going to be one hell of a game and if we can win this one, it will set the tone for the rest of our season.

We'll win this one...I'm going to be there and I am undefeated in away games. :urban1:
Northwestern always have scared me. They come to play every game and have given fits to Michigan every year when they played them. I understand that it is pretty hard to get a scholarship at Northwestern. Most of their players carry like a 3.5 or better. I think the game will be a sell-out for our game with them. "Go Bucks"

They'll play tough, no doubt. I'm hoping my wife doesn't counteract my karma...she was at the NW game in '04 when they pulled the upset. I expect it will be a sell-out, though I also expect a heavy Buckeye crowd!

I am concerned about California when we go there to play. Like I said in one of my posts here, Northwestern will give us a good look at what we can expect, for us, when we go out there to play. What is the seating capacity for wildcat stadium

I by no means want to look past Wisky, because that will be a very tough game...BUT...NW will be coming off a bye week, we will be coming off a physical game with Wisconsin, we may have key injuries hindering us, NW is likely the second best team in the conference, and it is a night game they have circled on their calendar. I hope we can win this week and make it out healthy, because I see this as our biggest test of the season.

I can respect that opinion RB but imo our biggest test is this weekend. The badgers are heads and shoulders better in the trenches and they have a bigger playmaker in gordon as well. The badger defense though is where they really are better imo. Bigger more physical line, best linebacker in the big, and a very active secondary.

We will beat wisconsin but we will roll NW. All my opinion of course :-D

Only reason I'm worried about NW is because we will have such a physical game against Bucky (fucking douchebags). We tend to come out flat after physical games in the past like losing to Illi and Purdue a few years back. Good trap game and NW isn't a terrible team by any means.
