Actually our running game looks pretty good with HALL and HYDE. We just don't have a passing game to complement it. Correct the passing problems
and we'll be just fine on Offense.

Yep while last year, the Wisconsin game in the 2nd half was the game that they finally just strapped it up and ran it at Wisconsin and it worked.

I hate the spread. They are trying to run it without truly recruiting for it.

Stick to what ya know.

So even if you're laying on the ground, you can be bouncing the ball between your legs and hands after the catch until you wrap it up and its complete?

Yes.

I've never seen something like that called complete.

You have, even if you didn't realize it.

Is a player not down until he has control of the ball?

He can be rolling around on his back and bobble the ball for 30 seconds before he catches it and it is still a catch.

Play the five star recruit at QB. The older guy is just a safer way to be inept.

We aren't good enough overall to win with a game manager at QB. We need a playmaker there even if it means some freshman mistakes.

As much as I want this to happen our coaching staff is not making a decision and continuing with a 2 QB system. What I don't understand is, in a 2-QB system shouldn't they both offset each other in ability?

We looked bad in EVERY single phase in that half. We couldn't run the damn ball, couldn't pass it, and special teams gave up a TD. Meanwhile Wisconsin ran all up and down our defense. That was an absolutely awful half of football from us. The run game alone makes this half bearable along with now being down by three TDs.

Seriously, that Wisconsin game was so bad.

Except Wisconsin has similar Talent to what Ohio State had.

I don't think that's the case here. At all. That makes it worse.

I disagree. I think we are going to own the second half actually. Our defense has turned it on since the 14 point surprise buttsecks and have given up minimal yardage and only three point since. The running game is working, all that we need to change now is the passing game. If we can get that working, we'll be dominating these Sallys by the fourth quarter.

EDIT: Disagreeing about the lead being almost insurmountable, in case that was unclear.

It's difficult to come out pounding the ball down 17-6.

And we have 2 issues in the passing game...our receivers aren't getting seperation, and our QB's aren't capable of delivering the ball. It's a tough situation to be in.

To win, Miami is going to have to help us. A LOT.

Don't know about out coached but certainly we are being out played.....

Agree with a new attitude for the second half....

Certainly being out coached. Fickell's handling of QB's has been horrendous. Not playing Miller against Toledo when Bauserman was ACTUALLY struggling is biting us in the ass right about now.
