Come on fellas. It's halftime. Last I checked, the game isn't over until the clock hits 00:00. Keep playing solid D, continue to pound the ball and we'll be alright. Someone will make a play.

We are 1/10 passing for 4 yards. We need to do more than "pound the ball" to win. We have to have something remotely resembling a passing game.

Certainly being out coached. Fickell's handling of QB's has been horrendous. Not playing Miller against Toledo when Bauserman was ACTUALLY struggling is biting us in the ass right about now.

I actually don't think the handling of the QBs has been Fickell's issue to be honest.

I think this team wasn't ready for a buzzsaw which is absolutely and totally not surprising given the youth on this team.

3 tackles in that first half and it's at worst 14-6.

Triple Option would work great right now

Cryami's defensive line is gassed. Gotta score quick to keep it close, but they will crack in the 4th if Ohio STate is in a position to run it.

It's difficult to come out pounding the ball down 17-6.

And we have 2 issues in the passing game...our receivers aren't getting seperation, and our QB's aren't capable of delivering the ball. It's a tough situation to be in.

To win, Miami is going to have to help us. A LOT.

We have two whole quarters left to get this game back in hand. That is a lot of time- plenty of time to take your time running the football down the throat. We have shown that we can do it tonight even when Miami knows it's coming.

But the passing game has got to pick up (won't be too difficult to improve on 4 yards total). And I think the best option is Braxton Miller. He is not perfect, but he provides mobility which will give receivers the separation they need. And once he actually gets settled in, I think Braxton will be able to deliver the ball.

Miami will come out playing scared- did you hear their HC at the half? "Jacory should have thrown to the check down on both of those interceptions, he needs to know that". Translation: I'm gonna make sure that we play more conservatively next half on offense. And when offenses get conservative after a solid first half, the tide tends to turn. See: 2011 Sugar Bowl.

Just my 2 cents.

How is the Toledo game or not playing Miller in that game causing us to be out coached this game? They are two separate games. As many have said in this thread and even Blackledge has said, at some point in time players need to make plays.

If we are being out coached, it is needing better offensive scheming based on who is in at QB to make them successful. I don't care if it is Baus or Miller, you have to put them in positions to be successful. Running a spread option with Baus just makes no sense.
