Why would we break out our scUM game plan against Illinois?

Was that the touchdown that wasn't a touchdown, with no challenge flag being thrown? I thought I had forgotten all of that.

I believe it was a huge run that led to a TD. But it would have made no sense to challenge the fumble back then since we couldn't get the fumble due to the play being ruled dead...now you can get the recovery if it was clear that the defense recovered after the play was ruled dead, but that was NOT the rule then. JT knew what he was doing. Not picking on you at all because this was/is a huge misconception about that play. It was a shitty call by the ref but there was nothing we could have done about that (or the clear pick that the Illini receiver threw on one of the TD throws...that's the one that pissed me off, the receiver practically tackled our defender).

As for this game...we are going to beat the ever living piss out of Illinois and I will enjoy every second of it. Hyde will roll up a 100+, the Elliott will follow suit. Braxton puts up over 300+ yards of total offense and 3+ TDs. I drink excessive amounts of bloody mary's at the alumni game watch on mountain time and subsequently get belligerent for the rest of Saturday slate.

I watched part of the Ill-Ind game from last weekend and I think both offenses can be a good test to see if the improvements to our D are legit. It will be interesting to compare how the Buckeye's Defensive stats compare in these next two games vs. Sparty's D. The nice part about that is I don't think either outcome will ever be in doubt, given what our offense will do to those defenses. Not sure what the rankings are but Illinois' defense looked by far the worse (kind of the shortest midget  ) to me. I'm guessing 52-10 for this one.
