Some of the worst officiating I have seen this year. Not blaming the loss on it at all since our guys just couldn't hit a bucket, but it was bad. This has been the worst year in recent memory for officiating in the B1G over all the games I have seen, and it needs to be addressed soon.

TSUN got called for more fouls and the free-throw count was almost the same (15-to-14 OSU).

It was turnovers and points off of turnovers. Every other stat was the similar.

When your senior leader goes 3-for-12 one weekend and 2-for-12 last weekend, you have problems. Maybe he's not a leader (for starters).

Please tell me those asshats rushed the court... I turned the TV off after that Lenzelle Smith TO or foul.... or TO... Which is it TV Ted?

EDIT: Please don't think I was crediting the loss to poor officiating. The Buckeyes lost the game because they played like horse shit. Thad was rolling in fresh bodies regularly in the 2nd half and still could not find a spark. This team needs a wake up call, in an extreme way.

My comments about the officiating were primarily directed towards TV Ted, and his over dramatized calls. He's god awful. What the B1G brass sees in him is beyond me.

Buford is schizophrenic this season.

The team has looked tired, especially against MSU and tonight it looked like they were dragging.

Shooting was abysmal from everywhere.

AND the officiating was typical Big 10, which is to say, wildly inconsistent.

Also, OSU has been the beneficiary of poor Big Ten officiating as well this season - they were not tonight but there have been plenty of games I've been at where the team playing OSU has gotten hosed on a bunch of touch and other bad fouls. Maybe I just need to lower my expectations but these guys deserve better.

EXACTLY

Blaming "the refs" is a convenient excuse for our team's poor play. Michigan had more fouls called on them and we shot more FTs, and we still lost. How did that happen? We stunk up the joint. :ohwell:
