i think we had less control of our destiny in the final 13 minutes of the wisconsin game than we had in the final 35 minutes of today's game. few teams would have survived the barrage in madison, regardless of having a 15-point lead. we were hapless today. the unforced errors were countless and unsettling.
Absolutely. We had opportunity after opportunity today to get back into it, especailly the last 10 minutes. We just couldn't get out of our own way. Honestly, Purdue didn't play that great either other than Moore and I thought Barlow played pretty good. Our guys just played worse. Other than Sullinger and Craft, I don't know if anybody did more to help the team win that they did to hurt us.

If by chance these two teams cross paths in the NCAA tourney...neutral court and ooc refs... That would be a great rubber match. I know they may see each other in the Big Ten Tourney too but these Big Ten refs are just way too fucking inconsistent. Great job by Purdue to defend their home court and all.

But the Bucks will win the rematch. Guaranteed.
If they meet again on a neutral court, I feel confident predicting an 8-10 point win at least. No way the Bucks play this poorly again, no way Moore plays like that again and no home court advantage. Like I said, to play that poorly and still be in it late indicates a considerable gap between the two teams.

the over-playing of our wings is really disrupting the team right now. Craft needs to make teams pay when they disrespect him like that. He had a couple nice takes to the rim beating his man off the dribble, but either drove too far, gave passes to players not in scoring positions, or didn't finish himself at the rim.

I love Crafts game, but if a team overplayed our wings like they did today when Conley was here he would have gone for 30 points and 10 assists. Aaron needed to be a bit more aggressive today and even a little selfish. IMO, he was looking to dish to much in the paint when he got his shoulder in front of the defender.

Opponents know the strength of this team is our wing-play and Sullinger. Right now they're daring Aaron to beat us. Take away our strengths and if a freshman PG beats us, so be it. Aaron can get the job done, but today was a tough one.

Well, Big Ten Tourney would be more likely. Not that Indianapolis is a neutral court, but I could see a matchup in the Finals easily. Depending on if OSU can get their groove back, I think OSU would win by between 5 and 10.

We saw what happens when OSU plays their worst and Purdue plays their best, and we also saw earlier in the year when the reverse happened.

OSU is the better team.

This osu basketball team is way overrated, they can't even make their own shot. They lack size, depth and skill. The tallest player in the rotation is 6 ft 9 Sullinger.Sorry as much as I like Ohio st this is a one and done team.

Thanks for your opinion and my opinion is Bob Knight you are not....
How foolish are you to say that they are one and done...may not make the Final Four but they are not one and done...
One of the most ignorant comments I have seen on this board...

C'mon. If it was that freaking easy then Lightey would have done it too. Moore just had one of those unconscious days. Happens.

There are over three players on Ohio States team shooting over 40% from 3 for the season, so this isnt about this one game. I just personally feel the game would be better if there was no 3 point line or it was moved back. I want more players like Evan Turner.

Honestly, if Justin Bieber can hit a 3 point shot in a game, then something needs to be done.

You play them ten times and frickin' Moore does not hit 38 again. Losing a close one when you play sloppy and their guy is unconscious is not cause for chicken little impersonations. Winning on the road in-conference is always tough, no matter how good you are.

Coach will use the loss to keep them grounded mentally as tournament time approaches.
THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS!

Seriously, this was BY FAR the worst I've seen this team play today and they were only down 4 with two minutes to go.

If it's going to take teams having their best players score career highs against us then I like our chances in the tournament.

We have the two best losses in the country right now and that should put us at #1 in my opinion.
