St Johns, pitt, uconn, louisville, west virginia, syracuse, and likely even villanova and notre dame are better than tosu.Second calling me a troll is beyond garbage I am a 75 year old buckeye fan routing for this team for 50 years.

So who did he root for for the other 25 years? 2011 minus 50 = 1961. Clearly just hopped on the bandwagon back in 1960 when OSU was kicking asses and taking names. :shake:

After reading some comments on Sully's twitter from purdon't fans...they can go fuck themselves. If we see them again, I have a feeling the game would be more of the January score than this one.

I agree. Purdon't fans can eat a bago'dicks.

The crap some of those jerks said to Jared is really just that. Crap. I understand he'll probably use it as motivation and I also realize there's no stopping retards from tweeting athletes. But those tweets are nothing compared to what TP gets. I'm not trying to minimize it because all of it's BS but some of the shit that people have tweeted TP crosses the line any every level. I'm not talking just about students of rival schools but adults that are employed by schools as coaches.

This is the kind of shit today's student-athletes deal with now that social networks pretty much give ass clowns like this a place to publicly call out student-athletes and play Internet tough guy. To say the least I can't stand purdue fans. But no student-athlete should be subject to such ridicule.

No doubt. All the more reason to ditch Twitter IMO.

Wow. Lots of knee jerk overreactions in this thread.

We're 25-2. Our two losses were road games against the 2nd and 3rd place teams in our conference. Both are ranked in the top 15, and they are 33-1 at home this year. (Six top ten teams lost this week, btw)

Take a breath, folks. The sky is not falling. :shake:

Actually, Purdue and Wisconsin are both undefeated at home this year, according to yesterday's TV broadcast.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how OSU can switch things up schematically if one player seems to be having the game of his life against OSU? Taylor did it in the UW game, and now Moore did it yesterday. Maybe it's easier said than done, but I'd try to make someone else beat us, even if it meant temporarily double-teaming a guy like Moore. Especially in Purdue's case--with the exception of Johnson, I don't see a lot of guys out there who would be able to step up and drop in a ton of points.

The assumption that OSU fans are any better behaved is possibly a product of hanging out on BP. Most boards aren't monitored as well. At the same time, look at the fan boards sponsored on the sports pages of the Cincinnati Enquirer, Dayton Daily News or the Dispatch and you'll see an unbelievable level of hostility, same for the op-ed pages.

The high school I worked at for many years had to take down the hockey and Lacrosse boards because of the vile language and threats that went back and forth between the teams and their opponents.

Perhaps the most unbelievable news I received came from our basketball coach. He'd been to a clinic and one of the most frequented sessions was on how to talk trash! This from "educators."
