In that case Oregon moves from 6 to 5. This BCS final poll cannot come out soon enough. Hope we don't see the 5 PAC 10 coaches ranking Oregon #3 in the coach's poll.
I don't think we will, only one.

Would you feel the same way if there were 3 undefeated teams with one of them being us and we got left out because we didn't start the season in the top 2?
Yes, I would. A playoff is a bad idea in College Football.

With this being the final regular season coaches poll, will the votes be made public?
Or is that for the final (after the bowls) poll?
No idea on when the votes will be released. Link to the BP thread discussing the CAL controversy and the AFCA's vote to release the final vote by the coaches.
"California coach Jeff Tedford got what he wanted: From now on, balloting in the final regular-season coaches poll will be made public."
Good.
I cant see too many people screwing us and ranking Oregon very high now...
With the vote being made public, I cant see that happening
You said you've explained this a lot but can you please explain it one more time? I don't get how you can be against a playoff when someone deserving might be left out of the National Championship.
College Football was never meant to produce a "National Champion", which is why the NCAA does not recognize a Div1A champion. The media does. The fans do. But the governing body does not.

It wasn't me that said that, but I'll give you some of my reasoning.
No playoffs is one of the many things that makes CFB unique. College Football was never meant to produce a "National Champion", which is why the NCAA does not recognize a Div1A champion. The media does. The fans do. But the governing body does not.
Bowl games were designed to reward schools for a great season. A chance for the team to play someone they normally don't due to regional games being the norm, and a short vacation for the football team to a warmer climate at the end of fall quarter. And the extra ticket sales didn't hurt. They were never meant to produce a "National Champion".
Do I seem old fashioned? I guess I do to an extent. But I'm fine with that.
