Question? Could we jump VT even if they pull this one out? FSU has outplayed them the whole game. The offensive line at FSU is patchwork at best and until the last series has taken it to the Hokies. Bottom line Hokies have not looked very impressive. In your mind given this game and the Miami game, if you are a voter do you seriously doubt that OSU wouldn't beat VT? Just looking this through my scarlet colored glasses.

Because we'll also be at least number four in most of the computers. The combination of human and computer rankings can't allow any other team to get ahead of us in Sunday's BCS rankings.

And at #4, since #3 gets their BCS bid as a conference champion (Penn St.), BCS rules state that the #4 team automatically gets one of the 2 at-large bids.

USC - Pac 10 champ = automatic bid
Texas- Big 12 champ = automatic bid
Penn St.- Big Televen CO-champ = automatic bid
Ohio St.- Big Televen CO-champ = automatic bid (due to top 4 BCS)
Georgia- SEC champ = automatic bid
Florida St.-ACC champ = automatic bid
West Virginia- Big Least champ = automatic bid
Notre Lame- not sure why = automatic bid (some stupid rule applies here)

If Oregon watches the BCS selection show tomorrow and cannot understand why they aren't invited, we can just tell them that you have to add one spot to your ranking for every alternate uniform you use during the season. Or just maybe they'll quit scheduling Houston and Montana. See you in the Fiesta Irish fans. I cannot wait!
