Title Game: Mich St 72, UNC 89 (Final)

Lord, I don't ask for much at the start of March, simply the quick elimination of Duke, Kentucky and North Carolina. This year we did not need your services to rid us of Kentucky and Duke quickly disappeared, but Lord, you have allowed the Tar Heels to skip through the tournament playing a succession of little sisters. Please, you've allowed NASCAR to grow till it has it's own TV network, you allowed Jesse Helms to hang around far too long. Country music and cable guy comedy smother our democracy. We are awash in corn pone. Lord, we are in desparate need of your intervention to spare us from a plague of Dean Smith, Michael Jordan and Roy Williams stories.

I would love to see the most overrated college basketball player of my lifetime (Hansbrough) go 0/4 trying for titles

as much as I dislike Sparty I have to root for them in this one

North Carolina is the Notre Dame of basketball. Spare me Dickie Vitalle spewing Tar Heel love over the air waves. Go Sparty!
The 80s called, they said your age is confusing your generation's domers with ours

I live in North Carolina, my neighbors are rooting for UNC, my wife for UNC, my kids for UNC, but we are THE BIG TEN!!! Go Sparty!!!!

Now if I hadn't given my Final Four tickets to my brother I would have been in Ford this weekend and Monday night....

Well there is always a chance to get tiks next year in Indy (as I am in the raffle again this year) and watch the Bucks in the Final Four:)

Although I picked NC to win the NC, this MSU team is probably the last one they would have ever wanted to face in the Finals. Tough up front and hit the boards like monsters. They might at times put you to sleep, but when you wake up you're down by 10. Summers might foul out in the first half, but he'll be on Lawson like the flesh eating virus. From top to bottom, it isn't close, NC is superior. But, with all the "stars" that NC has, I just see MSU putting up the fight of their lifes tomorrow, and making this one of the best NC games ever. I'm not gonna "say" MSU is a lock to win, but they are a "Lock" to cover. With 30 seconds left in this game, it will be up for grabs.

Peace.

In the sense that the Irish weren't going 6 and 6 in the 80s, yes.

That and the fact that I would only root for ND, regardless of decade, if they were playing University of Al Queda or the Buchenwald School for Guards... maybe.
